Water Fitness classes consist of a variety of water exercises to meet the needs of all ages and fitness levels. It is easy-to-learn, safe, and low-impact to minimize muscle soreness. The natural buoyancy of water supports joints and creates a resistant environment to work muscles.

Want to participate? You will need a bathing suit and towel. A certified lifeguard is on duty during all class sessions. We encourage participants to start in a program in which they will be successful initially and then move into a higher-level program as they become more comfortable with water exercise. All of our Water Fitness classes are included in membership!

Swim Team

Our YMCA Swim Team is great for young children who have the desire to learn to swim. This program acts as a great feeder program for children ages 8 and under as well as structure for High School and modified swimmers who are able to practice with their school teams while they are in season, compete in Y meets on weekends, and go to YMCA invitationals and championship meets. Participants are also able to practice with the Y team while their school team is out of season. The Y season runs from October to March for both boys and girls.
