Our Music & Arts Program provides individual and small group instruction in music, fine art, and craft for all ages. Unless otherwise indicated, all supplies are included in our classes. Come learn a new skill or refine your technique. Beginners welcome!
Adults & Older Teen Music Classes
Group Guitar I
Students learn to tune their guitars, read music and tab, play chords, and play songs in different genres (folk, rock, pop, and more) in this supportive group class.
Group Guitar II & III
Continuation classes for students who have completed Group Guitar I or for intermediate-level players.
Nurture your love of singing and learn the fundamentals of good technique in a supportive, small group class.
Introduction to Music Reading
Interested in learning to read music? This class in the basics includes rhythm and note-reading. We use percussion instruments and limited group singing.
Students will receive assistance tuning their ukuleles and learn to strum chords; songs are drawn from a variety of genres including popular music, rock, and folk. At-home tuners are suggested for each student.
Youth & Teen Music Classes
Music, My Grownup, & Me!
Play, sing, dance, and learn in this fun class for young children (through age 5) and their grownups. Each child must be accompanied by an adult who will participate in the class.
Youth Group Guitar
Students will learn to tune their guitars, read music and tab, play chords, and play songs in different genres (folk, rock, pop, and more) in this group class. Taught by Lucius Snowden.
Youth Group Ukulele
For students ages 6-14, this small-group class introduces tuning the ukulele, chords, and songs. Songs are drawn from a variety of genres including popular music, rock, and folk. At-home tuners are suggested for each student.
We offer individual and small group lessons in voice, piano, guitar, percussion, brass, and woodwinds. Music lessons generally start at age 5 for piano and percussion, age 10 for other instruments, and 15 for voice. Our KidPiano program for young learners (through age 10) is a great way to start lessons at a discounted rate.
